You need to install TWRP recovery in order to perform several non official activities to your Android powered device.
With TWRP recovery installed, you can perform rooting by flashing SuperSU (Flashable zip file) to your device to further helping your managing your available root permissions.
Not only that, once your device’s rooted by the help of TWRP you can continue roaming to the hacked system of your device. The next thing you can enjoy is flashing non-stock ROMs that are developed and maintained by third party Android developers.
TWRP is not the only custom recovery available, there are other big names one of which is CWM / ClockWorkMod recovery that is also offering great things to optimize our device performances. In the future I will also discuss about how to install this non-stock recovery on this blog. Just wait.
Anyway to flash TWRP recovery to your device, then you will need the following aspects.
A file you need.
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash recovery twrp-2.8.x.x-xxx.img
Now you can install SuperSU on any Android powered device of yours.
